Are you a Windows user?
It seems like most Tumblr users are Mac people. But there must be some PC/Windows Tumblrs out there. If you are a Windows user, can you explain why in a reblog?
Simple, it’s all about the games. Apple has dropped the ball on the games front over and over. The continuing decline of the PC gaming scene is easing this objection somewhat, but beyond Blizzard games OSX is still a wasteland for gamers.
And before you mention Boot Camp, the Apple hardware is pretty unfriendly to the regular and (already) expensive upgrades I perform on my PC, so this isn’t a really appealing option either.
I do plan to work on an iPhone side project, so I think I’m going to pick up a PowerBook, but the final reason I’m still PC-friendly is development environments. No matter what you say about MS, their platform/IDE still kicks Apple’s ass. I’ll take debugging C# in Visual Studio over anything else in the market, hands down.
